The first Quidditch match is drawing near and Harry′s excitement rises. To distract himself he wants to read the book "Quidditch through the Ages" which Prof. Snape has taken from him. When Harry wants to ask him whether he can have it back, he makes an important discovery: Snape has been bitten by the three-headed dog. Harry, Ron and Hermione suppose that he wants to steal that thing the dog is guarding.
In the first Quidditch match Gryffindor plays against Slytherin. Everything starts rather normal, but suddenly Harry′s broom acts crazyly. Hermione and Ron observe Prof. Snape bewitching the broom. Hermione is able to distract him and Harry catches the Snitch: Gryffindor wins the game.
When Hagrid wants to congratulate them for the victory, he accidently drops an important piece of information. He tells something about someone called Nicolas Flamel.
