At last Harry knows he is a wizard. Together with Hagrid he goes to Diagon Alley to buy his stuff for school.
Before they are able to pick up Harry′s money and a small package from the dungeons of Gringotts, Harry has to shake hands with many people in the Leaky Cauldron because Harry is very famous in the wizard world. Harry is everything else than used to his popularity.
Hagrid explains the usage and counting of the strange looking money to Harry and they start shopping. At Madam Malkin where Harry buys his school uniform, he meets another Hogwarts student. From the first moment on Harry doesn′t like him and he′s glad he can leave the shop.
The last thing to buy is the wand. Hagrid goes with Harry to Mr. Ollivander. It takes some time to find the right wand. Mr. Ollivander is surprised that the wand chosen for Harry consists out of a feather of the same phoenix as the wand from You-Know-Who
After Harry buys all necessary equipment, he goes back to the Dursleys.
