Everybody keeps an eye on Harry, which he does not like. But he is busy finding his way to the classrooms in time. Hogwarts seems to be strange for Harry. Everything changes constantly its place and the ghosts scare him. Especially Peeves angers the first-years. But also the caretaker, Mr. Filch, with his cat Mrs. Norris is always around if somebody does something wrong.
The first week is very exhausting but Harry adapts to everything; even the mail in the morning, which is being brought by owls, does no longer administer him a shock. His first letter which he gets is from Hagrid, who invites him to a cup of tea.
Especially potion is a difficult lesson for the Gryffindors, because Prof. Snape deals with them harder than with the others. After the lesson Harry goes together with Ron to the meeting to Hagrid. At Hagrid′s Harry reads an article in the daily prophet which says that there was a break-in at Gringotts where Hagrid and Harry had got the strange package just the same day. Harry is wondering about that.
