In the office of Prof. McGonagall they meet Prof. Dumbledore and Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, who are very happy to see them. Harry is glad that Prof. Dumbledore is among the people. Harry tells what he experienced and how he found the Chamber of Secrets. Ginny tells that Tom Riddle made her open the Chamber of Secrets. She was under his control. She had found the diary, that connected her to Tom, between the used books she bought at Diagon Alley. Dumbeldore gives some tasks to everyone and they leave Harry and him.
They start talking about the similarities between Harry and You-Know-Who. But Dumbledore says, even if there are similarities, Harry is a real Gryffindor and only because of that he was able to pull the sword out of the hat. It was the sword of Godric Gryffindor. Suddenly Lucius Malfoy and Dobby appear and want to talk to Prof. Dumbeldore. Prof. Dumbeldore explains, that he had been reannounced as the headmaster of Hogwarts by the Govenors. Some of them told that they had been forced to place their signature on the provisional vacation by Mr. Malfoy. Furthermore he explains, that there is no danger anymore because of the Chamber of Secrets. It was You-Know-Who, who acted through Ginny. Dobby draws Harry′s attention to the fact that its master played the diary in Ginny′s hands and Harry stands up for it. Mr. Malfoy leaves the room inflamed with anger. Harry follows him and passes the diary, which he wrapped in one of his socks, to Mr. Malfoy. Mr. Malfoy takes the sock of the b
ook and throws it away. The sock is being caught by Dobby. Dobby got a piece of clothing from his master and is free from now on.
