Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Chapter 9 - The Writing on the Wall
Filch is shocked because of what was done to Mrs. Norris and wants somebody to be punished. He accuses Harry, as he was the one nearest to the wall. When Prof. Dumbledore orders Harrys and his friends to follow him to Lockhart′s office, Filch thinks that Dumbledore believed him.
Examining the cat Prof. Dumbledore finds out that she was merely Petrified, but also explains that no second-year could perform magic like that. Even Prof. Snape thinks that the three frineds have been in the wrong place at the wrong time, but still wants them to be punished. Prof. Dumbledore declares that he believes Harry and that there will be no punishment. The cat could be revived with a draught.
A few days later Hermione looks for a copy of "Hogwarts: A History" in the library, because she hopes to find a note about the Chamber of Secrets. Unfortunately all copies are lent, so she asks Prof. Binns during their next History of Magic lesson about it.
Now the question occurs to Harry who could be the Heir of Slytherin. Hermione persuades Harry and Ron to spy out Draco by using a Polyjuice Potion.
