Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Chapter 13 - Gryffindor versus Ravenclaw
Harry stands between his fighting friends Ron and Hermione. On the morning of the next Quidditch match -Gryffindor against Ravenclaw- Harry’s Firebolt is admired by a multitude of students, but the Slytherins in his year only laugh at him. The game actually turns out to be rather one-sided, with Gryffindor in the lead, until Dementors emerge on the pitch and Harry has the chance to try his Patronus. When Harry has landed with the golden Snitch in his hand, being happy about his success, Professor Lupin, after congratulating him, takes him to Malfoy, Crabbe, Goyle and Flint who slowly emerge from their Dementor’s disguise. This incident does not spoil the Gryffindor’s party, but Ron and Hermione are still not back on speaking terms.
In the middle of the night Harry is woken up by Ron’s scream. Ron maintains that he has seen Sirius Black with a knife and Sir Cadogan explains that he has let him in because of the slip of paper with the passwords on it that Neville had lost earlier. Now it is clear that the sought criminal was able to come into the Gryffindor’s common room.
