Harry lies in his bed in Privet Drive when he wakes up because of a dream. The scar on his forehead burns, which normally indicates that You-Know-Who is somewhere near. Harry dreamed of a conversation between You-Know-Who and Wormtail and an old man who had been eavesdropping and was then killed by You-Know-Who. Furthermore Harry had heard that You-Know-Who plans to kill him.
He writes a letter to his godfather Sirius, telling him about his scar hurting.
