After the Christmas holidays, Harry′s Care of Magical Creatures class is no longer taught by Hagrid but instead by Professor Grubbly-Plank, because Rita Skeeter has exposed Hagrid′s status as a half-breed and has written in her article that the pupils have to face bloodthirsty creatures in his lessons.On the next Hogsmeade weekend Harry, Ron and Hermione meet Mr. Bagman. He offers his help, but Harry does not want that. Furthermore Harry gets to know that Mr. Crouch has not come to work in a long time.Back at Hogwarts they go to Hagrid, where they meet Dumbledore. Dumbledore and the three persuade Hagrid to teach again.
