Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Chapter 23 - Christmas on the Closed Ward
Harry panics because he might be possessed by Lord Voldemort and believes that he could be his special weapon. Back in Sirius’ home he goes straight to his room. Harry thinks about the possibility of his turning into a snake even though he is no Animagus. But at this moment Harry realises that he might show Voldemort the secret place of the Order. He packs his trunks very fast and is ready to leave when Phineas appears in his portrait and tells him, that he has to stay where he is - on Dumbledore′s order. Harry feels very angry but stays. As he sleeps, he dreams again of the passageway and the door. He knows that he wants this thing behind the door whatever it is. Harry wakes up at the moment Ron wants to fetch him for breakfast. In Harry′s opinion everyone fears him and so he stays in his room and goes back to sleep. The following day everyone decorates the house except for Harry who stays with Buckbeak. In the evening Hermione lures him back to his bedroom where Ron and Ginny wait for him. Ginny describes how one feels, who is possessed by Voldemort and finally they understand that Harry feared for nothing.
On Christmas Day they all visit Mr Weasley in St. Mungo′s. Molly is very angry with her husband because he has allowed the healers to stitch up his wound like the Muggles do. Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny get on their way to the hospital cafeteria but before they can get there they meet Prof. Lockhart, who is still mad. The nurse thinks that the four want to visit him and lets them into his chamber. There they meet Neville and his grandmother who visit Neville′s parents Alice and Frank Longbottom, who were tortured to madness by Bellatrix Lestrange.
