The first Divination lesson with the centaur Firenze is astonishing for the whole class. Their class room is located on the ground floor and looks like a part of the Forbidden Forest. Even the relation between the teacher and his students is different from every other class at Hogwarts. At the end of the lesson Harry is asked by Firenze to give Hagrid a warning from him: “His attempt is not working. And he would do better to abandon it.” Hagrid’s reaction is abrasive.
During a DA lesson where the members learn to perform the Patronus charm, Harry gets a warning from Dobby, who says that Prof. Umbridge knows about the DA and the Room of Requirement and is on her way to disrupt the meeting. During the flight of all DA members, Harry is caught by Draco Malfoy who hands him to Prof. Umbridge. Both of them go to the headmaster’s office, where they meet Cornelius Fudge, Prof. McGonagall, Dawlish, Kingsley Shacklebolt and Percy Weasley. Prof. Umbridge asserts that Harry has broken the Educational Decree Number Twenty-four. Marietta Edgecombe is her witness, who has a lot of pustules which show in their entirety the word SNEAK. Kingsley Shacklebolt uses the Imperius Curse to control Marietta and make sure that she does not say a word. Prof. Umbridge is forced to speak about her second piece of evidence – the list of all DA Members, which has been signed during their first meeting in the Hog’s Head. Prof. Dumbledore gives a false statement because the title on the list is called “Dumbledore’s Army”. He says that this has all been his fault. Dumbledore flees and disappears to an unknown place. Before he leaves he asks McGonagall to stay at Hogwarts and forces Harry to give his best in his Occlumency lessons.
