Harry, Ron and Hermione talk about the Half-Blood Prince. In Hermione′s opinion the Half-Blood Prince is a bit dubious, but Harry and Ron don′t want to take her seriously.
The next weekend is their first Hogsmeade weekend this year. In Hogsmeade they meet Mundungus Fletcher, whose trunk has fallen down to the ground. Harry realises that most of the things in the trunk are stolen from Sirius′ household and he gets really angry about this fact. So he tries to get him to speak, but too late, Mundungus manages to escape.
Because of the bad weather the three students soon decide to go back to the school. While they are walking back they become witnesses of Katie Bell′s strange behaviour. She has been jinxed with an opal necklace, which lets her fly in the air. Harry remembers that he has seen this necklace at Borgin and Burkes in Knockturn Alley. Harry suspects that it has something to do with Draco Malfoy. Back to school he tells his suspicion to Professor McGonagall, but she doesn′t believe him.
