At the day Hermione′s and Ron′s Apparition exams are held, the three of them get a letter from Hagrid. It comprises the invitation to Aragog′s burial, but Harry, Ron and Hermione decide not to visit the burial. During their discussion about the memories Dumbledore showed Harry, Ron has the inspiration that Harry should try the Felix Felicis potion to get the true memory from Slughorn. After the Apparition exam, which Ron failed, Harry takes the potion and then decides to go to Hagrid. On the way to Hagrid′s hut he meets Professor Slughorn, who is very interested in Aragog′s poison and he joins Harry.
After the burial Hagrid and Slughorn drink a lot of wine and finally they are completely drunk. Harry makes sure that the bottles refill themselves but he doesn′t drink anything.
When Hagrid falls asleep, Harry tells Professor Slughorn about his parents′ death and appeals to Slughorn′s honour to give him the true memory.
