Snape, Malfoy and the other Death Eaters take flight. Harry is very confused, but he follows Snape back into the building. While Snape runs away Harry again and again finds himself in a battle against a Death Eater. Hagrid appears at his side and gives him a helping hand. Harry tries to catch up with Snape and Malfoy before they leave the Hogwarts grounds to Disapparate to a secure place. Hagrid′s hut bursts into flames.
When Harry arrives near Snape, his teacher starts to have problems to stop Harry′s curses. Snape tells him that he, Severus Snape, is the Half-Blood Prince. Snape manages to get off the Hogwarts grounds and disappears. Hagrid and Harry put the fire out and Harry tries to explain to Hagrid that Dumbledore has been killed by Snape. But Hagrid doesn′t believe this until the moment when they arrive at Dumbledore′s corpse. The amulet which Dumbledore and Harry have just found this evening opens up and a parchment drops down. A so-called ‘R.A.B’ has stolen the real Horcrux but nobody knows who R.A.B. is.
