Harry and his friends Hermione and Ron are waiting for Kreacher in Grimmauld Place Number 12. Kreacher has been sent to search for Mundungus Fletcher. The presence of Death Eaters near the door doesn’t make a good mood so that Ron and Hermione end once again up in arguing. Lupin tells them what had happened after the wedding. So they foid out that the Ministry is under Voldemort’s direction. They also find out that the Ministry has founded a Muggle-Born Registration Commission because they want the pure-bloods to believe that muggle-born wizards and witches have stolen their ability from “real” wizards.
Lupin wants to find out if Dumbledore had given Harry a mission and what this mission is about. When Harry isn’t able to tell Lupin anything Lupin gets thoughtfully and tells them that Tonks will have a baby from him. Hermione, Ron and Harry congratulate but Lupin himself is unhappy about the situation. When Lupin says he would prefer going on mission with them than staying with Tonks and the baby Harry and Lupin get in a bad argument.
Later, when Harry reads an extract of Dumbledore’s biography, Kreacher appears suddenly with Mundungus, who tells them, that he gave the locket to Dolores Umbridge.
