Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Chapter 19 - The Silver Doe
Harry and Hermione are not sure about the safety of their current place because they hear voices and Apparate to another place at once. Harry guards the place and suddenly sees a white light. He recognises a silver doe and follows her into the forest. When the doe stops moving and Harry tries to get some light the silver doe disappears into nothing. Harry moves to a frozen lake nearby and sees the true sword of Godric Gryffindor in the middle of the lake. Harry has to go into the cold water to get the sword and he would have been strangled by the Horkrux necklace he wears if Ron had not appeared in time to rescue Harry. None who could have performed the silver doe Patronus is seen somewhere. Harry asks Ron to destroy the Horcrux with the sword.
Ron has some trouble because the Horcrux talks to him, but finally he manages to finish it off. Harry explains that he and Hermione are not in love to each other and they return to the tent. Hermione is very angry with Ron and Harry has to stand between them. At last Ron can tell his friends what he has done since he left them.
