Chapter 20 - Xenophilius Lovegood
Though Hermione is still angry with Ron, she and Harry listen eagerly to the news Ron has to tell. He explains that the deatheaters put a taboo on VOldermot′s nae, so that everyody speaking it aloud could be tracked. And of course the three of them discuss, who might have sent the Patronus which led the way to Gryffindor′s sword. As Harry saw Xenophilius Lovegood wear that strange triangular sign Hermione found in Beedle the Bard, they decide to visit the Lovegood′s house and find out what it means. Luna is not at home when they arrive and Hermione recognises an Erumpent horn displayed in the living room.
Mr Lovegood wants to help them and recognises the sign as the symbol of the Deathly Hallows.
