There is a debate on Horcruxes versus Deathly Hallows going on between the friends. Harry links Marvolo Gaunt’s ring to the Resurrection Stone and realizes that Voldemort is after the Elder Wand while Hermione remains sceptical and wants to look for the Horcruxes.
Ron succeeds in tuning in to “Potterwatch”, the radio programme, so they are able to listen to the latest news of their friends. They hear that Ted Tonks, Dirk Cresswell and Gornuk, a goblin, were killed and that Dean Thomas and a second goblin escaped.
Then Harry says Voldemort’s name and they are tracked and surrounded by a group of snatchers.
