A group of Snatchers led by Fenrir Greyback catches Harry, Ron and Hermione and brings them to Malfoy Manor. They all give false names but are still being identified. They have the order to bring the sword and the captives to the house of the Malfoy’s. Bellatrix arrives and the Death Eaters have a discussion whether they really caught Harry. Even Draco isn’t sure. As Bellatrix sees the sword she orders to bring the captives into the cellar. In the cellar of the house they meet Luna, the wandmaker Ollivander and the goblin Griphook. Harry takes out his enchanted mirror of the pouch and sees an eye. Hopelessly he calls for help and suddenly Dobby is there to rescue them all. In the meantime Bellatrix Lestrange is torturing Hermione, who is up on the ground floor, because of her mudblood status, to explain how Gryffindor’s sword, which Bellatrix believed to be in her vault in Gringotts, came in their possession.
Then a very loud noise, the disapparating of Dobby with Dean, Luna and Ollivander, draws their attention to the cellar and Wormtail is send to check it. Downstairs there is a fight between Wormtail and Harry and Ron and consequently the silver hand Wormtail got from Voldemort strangles Wormtail after trying to do it with Harry. Then the two go upstairs to rescue Hermione and Griphook and after a fight in the hall Harry, Ron, Hermione, Griphook and Dobby are able to disapparate. They arrive at Bill and Fleur’s Shell Cottage but Dobby is hit by Bellatrix’s knife, she threw after him, and so he dies in Harry’s arms.
