Chapter 28 - The Missing Mirror
By apparating directly into Hogsmeade Harry, Ron and Hermione set off a trap and are surrounded by Death Eaters and Dementors but still invisible under their cloak. Harry scares of the Dementors by using his Patronous. Fleeing seems impossible but the barkeeper of the Hog’s Head who turns out to be nobody else but Aberforth Dumbledore suddenly rescues them by giving them a hiding place and inventing a cover story for the searching Death Eaters. Harry recognizes him as Dumbledores brother Aberforth and sees the second part of the mirror in the room. He is now aware, that he didn’t see the eye of Albus, instead he saw the eye of Aberforth and that Aberforth sent Dobby to him. He shares his bitter thoughts and memories of his brother with the three students and urges them to give up and to hide but when Harry refuses, Aberforth opens the last secret passageway into Hogwarts that is not protected by Death Eaters and the trio goes through to find a messy looking Neville.
