| Weitere Angaben | Siewar ein Mitglied von Footlights, eines Amateur-Theaterclubs. 1989 wurde sie Vizepräsidentin des Cambridge University Footlights Dramatic Club. Seghatchian arbeitete zuerst für BBC, bevor sie 2007 bei UK Film Council anfing. Sie wurde zur Leiterin des Entwicklungsfonds bei UK Film Council ernannt, bevor sie 2010 Leiterin des Filmfonds wurde. Seghatchian beaufsichtigte die Fusion des UK Film Council mit dem British Film Institute und war danach kurzzeitig Leiterin der fusionierten Institution, bevor sie im September 2011 zurücktrat. Sie ist neben John Woodward Mitgründerin der britischen Produktionsfirma Brightstar, die 2019 einen Vertrag mit Amazon Studios unterschrieben hat. Brightstar soll TV-Serien für Amazon Prime Video entwickeln. |
