Sie und ihre Firma 'Sarah Weatherburn and Co.' sind in der Filmbranche bekannt für exzellente Arbeit. Sobald Haarteile oder sonstige Behaarung für das Gesicht benötigt werden, wird sie gerne engagiert. Sie hat unter anderem in so großen Produktionen wie der Harry Potter-Reihe mitgewirkt, genauso wie in vielen anderen Filmen auch für das TV sowie Theaterproduktionen. Jeder Bart, Kotletten, Augenbraue oder Schnurrbart wird individuell und von Hand gefertigt, das bedeutet Haar für Haar. Die einzelnen Haare werden in feine Stoffstücke eingearbeitet, die vorab dem Hautton des Darstellers entsprechend ausgewählt werden. Durch sorgfältige Auswahl von Farben und Materialien wirken die Haarteile natürlich in der Farbtiefe und dadurch wie echtes Haar. |
